How to fill TDAC: Thailand Digital Arrival Card
TDAC (Thailand Digital Arrival Card) is Thailand’s online arrival card, replacing the paper arrival card. Foreign travelers must submit it before entry by land, air or sea, including re-entry after a border run via Satun or Ranong. Submit within the three-day window before arrival, including arrival day. Submission is free on the official TDAC website.
- Submit within three days before arrival in Thailand, including arrival day, before passing entry immigration.
- Each entry needs a new TDAC; a card from a previous arrival cannot be reused.
- Children and infants also need a TDAC. You may complete it for family members.
- TDAC is not a visa. Transit without passing immigration does not require TDAC; crew are also exempt.
- Your passport and personal details.
- Arrival date, trip and transport details, and purpose of visit.
- Your accommodation address in Thailand.
- Health declaration details, including countries visited in the two weeks before arrival if requested by the system.
- An accessible email address to receive the arrival card and QR code.
- Step 1. Open the official website and select “Arrival Card”.
- Step 2. Enter personal and passport details in English. You may scan the passport’s machine-readable zone (MRZ) or upload its image. Check the retrieved details against your passport, then select “Continue”.
- Step 3. Enter trip and accommodation details, then select “Continue”.
- Step 4. Complete any health information requested, then select “Preview”.
- Step 5. Review everything and use “Edit” to correct mistakes. For a family, use “Add Other Travelers”; one submission can include up to 10 travelers.
- Step 6. Enter your email, agree to the terms and select “Submit”.
- Step 7. Download the card with its QR code. You can show it on your phone. Printing is optional but useful if you will not have a device with you.

A Phuket border run follows the general TDAC rule: submit a new card for each entry into Thailand. Use your return date after crossing the border; do not reuse the card from your previous arrival.
- For a return by land, provide the actual entry and transport details rather than details of an earlier flight.
- Match the information to how you cross the Thai border: TDAC also applies to arrival by sea.
- Use your accommodation address in Thailand after returning. If you continue staying in Phuket, prepare that address in advance.
- If your travel date or accommodation changes, use “Update Arrival Card” or submit a new form before entry.
- Entering details in another language. The guide requires English, even when you choose another interface language.
- Trusting a scan without checking. Always compare MRZ results with your passport.
- Incorrect name, nationality or date of birth. These fields cannot be updated. Submit a new form with the correct details; the latest valid submission is used.
- Outdated travel or hotel details. Correct them before entry. In “Update Arrival Card”, find your card using its number, date of birth and nationality; review the changes, enter your email and submit again.
- Leaving a form unfinished. You cannot save progress, so prepare the information first.
- Website errors. For a 429 error, the official FAQ recommends refreshing and trying again; for “0 Unknown Error”, check your internet connection. If the site is unavailable, save a screenshot and contact immigration staff. If the QR code does not arrive by email, contact an immigration officer at your entry checkpoint.

Passport number and occupation
Use the passport you will present at the border and check any scanned MRZ details. Enter your actual occupation in English rather than copying somebody else’s example. Use the child’s own details for a child. Consult the official form’s guidance if the appropriate value is unclear.
Accommodation and connecting travel
Use your actual accommodation after arrival. Choose Phuket, Pattaya or another city according to your stay rather than an example in a guide. For a connecting journey, match the details to your actual entry into Thailand. Transit without passing immigration falls under the official FAQ exception.
Submission at tdac.immigration.go.th is free. A paid intermediary is not required. Check the domain before entering passport information.
Instructions checked on 26 October 2026 against the official guide and FAQ linked above. For Satun and Ranong, the manager will provide transport and checkpoint details and help complete TDAC if needed. Check entry requirements separately from TDAC. Contact TVR.
