Where to fly from Phuket and Bangkok
Phuket and Bangkok are handy bases for exploring Southeast Asia. Phuket International (HKT) and Bangkok's two airports, Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK), have regular flights to Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia and the Philippines, plus domestic routes to Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Krabi, Koh Samui and beyond.
Choose where you are flying from and to, your dates and the number of passengers. We show the cheapest fares Aviasales users have found recently, starting with dates close to yours. Card prices are per passenger. "View" opens the flight on Aviasales for all your passengers, where you will see the full price, baggage and fare rules. Tickets are bought from the airline or travel agency; we do not take payment for flights.
Phuket (HKT)
Flights to Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Penang, Vietnam, Bali and around Thailand, some of them direct — no need to travel to Bangkok if you are staying on the island.
Suvarnabhumi (BKK)
Bangkok's main airport, with the widest choice of destinations and full-service airlines.
Don Mueang (DMK)
Bangkok's second airport and a low-cost hub. It often has the cheapest tickets to neighbouring countries, though checked baggage usually costs extra.
- Compare fares including baggage: low-cost airlines often charge separately for cabin bags and suitcases.
- Check your passport validity and the entry rules of your destination.
- If you plan to come back to Thailand, check the entry conditions for your nationality on our countries and visa exemption page and complete your TDAC. Immigration decides on the entry stamp.
- The nearest dates tend to cost more; if your plans are flexible, compare the days around them.
If you need a fresh stamp but would rather not fly, a Phuket border run to Malaysia or Myanmar brings you back the same day. Questions? See the FAQ or reach a manager via contacts.
