Thailand’s MoFA Recommends Changes to Entry Rules

All news

🔹 On March 20, Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially recommended that the government reduce the visa-exempt stay from 60 to 30 days. Citizens of more than 90 countries will be affected.

🔹 No final decision from the Cabinet has been made yet. The changes are not in effect — the current 60-day regime continues to apply.

🔹 Preliminary reports suggest that after 30 days, visitors may be able to extend their stay for another 30 days through an immigration office.

🔹 We are carefully monitoring the situation and will report on the Cabinet’s decision as soon as it is announced.
